These terms govern your use of Account AI. By creating an account, you agree to them. Account AI is currently operated in Stripe TEST mode as part of ongoing product development — no real payments are processed today.
Account AI is a bookkeeping and financial-tracking tool: receipt capture and extraction, transaction tracking, Ask My Money question answering, and Malaysian tax-relief tracking, offered on Free and paid subscription plans.
You must provide accurate information to create an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
You may use Account AI to record and review your own (or your business's) financial information and to manage your subscription.
You may not use Account AI to store or process data you're not authorised to hold, attempt to bypass security or usage limits, abuse the AI features (e.g. automated bulk querying designed to extract value rather than genuinely use the product), interfere with the service's operation, or use the service for any unlawful purpose.
Account AI is a record-keeping and organisation tool. It is not a licensed accountant, tax adviser, auditor, lawyer, bank, or financial institution, and nothing in the product constitutes accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice.
Receipt/OCR extraction and Ask My Money answers are generated automatically and can be incomplete or incorrect — always review extracted amounts, dates, and categories before relying on them, and treat Ask My Money's answers as a helpful summary of your own recorded data, not verified financial or tax guidance.
Possible tax-relief items shown in Account AI are suggestions based on your recorded transactions and general category rules — they are not a filed claim, not a guarantee of eligibility, and not a substitute for checking current LHDN/HASiL rules or consulting a tax professional before filing.
You are responsible for reviewing the financial and tax information Account AI generates before using it for any actual accounting, filing, or business decision.
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Upgrading to a higher plan takes effect immediately; Stripe calculates the prorated amount for the remainder of the billing period, and Account AI never calculates that amount itself. Downgrading to a lower plan is scheduled to take effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep your current plan's features until then.
Cancelling a subscription takes effect at the end of the current billing period, not immediately — you keep paid access until then, and can resume before the period ends if you change your mind. Cancelling never deletes your transactions, receipts, or accounting records; they remain in your account.
If a payment fails, you'll see a warning and keep paid access for a grace period while you update your payment method. If the payment issue isn't resolved, paid features become unavailable until it is — your data is not deleted as a result.
Account AI's owner may, at their discretion, grant complimentary (no-charge) access to a plan for a limited or unlimited period. Complimentary access is separate from a paid subscription and does not itself involve any payment.
If you're not satisfied with a paid plan, you can request a full refund within 7 days of your first payment on that plan — contact us (see Contact & Support) and we'll process it, no questions asked. Outside that window, payments are generally non-refundable, except: (1) a duplicate or erroneous charge caused by a billing error, which we'll always correct; or (2) a documented service failure that meaningfully prevented you from using the product you paid for. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not itself refund the current billing period — see Cancellation above. We reserve the right to decline a refund request that appears fraudulent or abusive.
You retain ownership of the receipts, documents, and financial information you upload or enter. You grant Account AI the license needed to store and process that content in order to provide the service to you.
The Account AI product, software, and branding belong to Account AI's operator and are not licensed to you beyond what's needed to use the service as intended.
Account AI is provided on an "as available" basis. As an early-stage product still under active development, we don't currently guarantee a specific uptime level.
We may suspend or terminate an account for violating these terms, for abuse of the service, or for extended non-payment on a paid plan. You may stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time.
The service is provided without warranties beyond what the law requires, and — subject to applicable law — Account AI's liability for any claim relating to the service is limited. This section is drafted conservatively for an early-stage product and will be reviewed by the owner/legal counsel before public paid launch.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
